Senior DevOps Engineer

Tasks

The role involves responsibility for the design, development, and testing of software modules to ensure optimal functionality and integration within complex systems. This includes:

• Agile Program Planning and Execution
• Change management, including work on market data platform initiatives and the promotion of standardization and automation
• Support for the introduction of cloud-native stacks and shared platforms
• Support in promoting engineering culture within the team
• Contribution to the GPS Future Software Solutions Strategy

Requirements

The position requires:

• Over 8 years of experience
• Experience with the integration and configuration of vendor software
• Experience with databases such as OneTick or similar
• Solid skills working on Linux/Unix infrastructure
• C/C++ experience (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, and others)
• Scripting skills (bash)
• Extensive experience with distributed architectures
• Development background (e.g., Java, .NET, Scala, Python, JavaScript)
• Ability to identify non-functional requirements and document system designs
• Understanding of communication stacks (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, gRPC, sockets)
