Senior DevOps Engineer

Tasks

The role involves responsibility for the design, development, and testing of software modules to ensure optimal functionality and integration within complex systems. This includes:

• Agile Program Planning and Execution
• Change management, including work on market-related platforms and the promotion of standardization and automation
• Regulatory Responsibilities B/C & Risk Management, including demonstrating values and behaviors such as honesty and integrity

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this role:

• Over 8 years of experience
• Experience with the integration and configuration of vendor software
• Experience with databases such as OneTick or similar
• Solid skills working on Linux/Unix infrastructure
• C/C++ experience (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, and others)
• Scripting skills (bash)
• Creation of deployment and experience with distributed architectures
• Developer background (e.g., Java, .NET, Scala, Python, JavaScript)
• Ability to identify non-functional requirements and document system designs
• Understanding of communication stacks (e.g., RabbitMq, Kafka, GRPC, with sockets)

Professional and technical requirements

The following professional and technical requirements apply to this role:

• Experience in banking, particularly in the area of financial markets
• Experience with Azure Application Platform, especially AKS
• Experience and knowledge in designing architectures and writing code for microservices and distributed applications
• Knowledge of observability tools (Grafana, ElasticSearch, fluent-bit, OpenTelemetry)
• Understanding of security topics such as OAuth 2.0, TLS, vulnerability scanning
