Senior Economist (80% -100%)
The Swiss National Bank is looking for a Senior Economist (80%-100%) to manage projects at the interface between economics and technology. The focus is on designing the SIC system, representing the SNB externally and preparing the basis for decision-making.

Your contribution:
- Management of projects at the interface between economics and technology with high strategic complexity or scientific demands;
- Independent preparation and representation of decision-making bodies vis-à-vis management;
- Professional orientation of a topic committee, taking into account different sources of information, project results and scientific findings;
- Representation of the team on specialist committees within and outside the SNB;
- Preparation of briefings, presentations and publications.
Your knowledge and experience:
- Proven experience in policy or strategy consulting and working with decision makers and committees;
- Proven experience in the management of complex projects;
- Proven experience in policy or strategy consulting and working with decision makers and committees;
- Sound knowledge of financial market or central bank-specific topics and ideally of financial market infrastructures and payment transactions;
- Master's degree or doctorate in an economic or social science subject and experience in scientific work;
- High analytical and conceptual skills;
- High social competence, confident demeanor, awareness of change and strong ability to cooperate and work in a team;
- Confident communication in German or French as well as in English.
