Tasks

• Management of projects at the interface between economics and technology with high strategic complexity or scientific demands;
• Independent preparation and representation of decision bases to the management;
• Professional orientation of a thematic team, taking into account different sources of information, project results and scientific findings;
• Representation of the team on specialist committees within and outside the SNB;
• Preparation of briefings, presentations and publications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in policy or strategy consulting and working with decision makers and committees;
• Proven experience in the management of complex projects;
• Proven experience with selected topics and ideally with financial market infrastructures and payment transactions;
• Sound knowledge of financial market or central bank-specific topics;
• Master's degree or doctorate in an economic or social science subject and experience in scientific work;
• High analytical and conceptual skills;
• High social competence, confident demeanor, awareness of change and strong ability to cooperate and work in a team;
• Confident communication in German or French as well as in English.
