Key Responsibilities
- This role will provide specialist expertise on AMRF's ETF and Index fund range and will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities that address specific market needs.
- Understand and communicate the structure of the buy and sell side in ETFs. Specifically, the successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of processes in both the asset management and capital markets.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through the existing and potential allocation of client assets under management.
- Work with the HSBC AM sales team as well as our HSBC Client Relationship Managers to manage and service client relationships and identify opportunities.
- Proactively participate in the marketing of the ETF range by working with client product specialists and product strategists for the creation of high-quality sales materials.
Requirements
- Deep experience in asset management or institutional distribution.
- Proven track record of running assets and managing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of investment products and capital markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Existing network of institutional or wholesale clients is highly desirable.
- Study fluency in German and French.
- CISI or CFA qualifications; if not a CISI or CFA, you are not a prerequisite.
- Extensive understanding and experience in the trading of ETFs.
- Ability to travel regularly for client meetings and to French-speaking Switzerland.
- The role will also involve client interaction and the holder may need to comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Due to immigration restrictions to Switzerland we will only be able to consider applications from Swiss or EU citizens from candidates holding a valid Swiss work permit.
