Senior Front-End Developer 100% (f/m/d) - (Contract through our external payroll partner, starting immediately for 12 months, with the possibility of extension)

Tasks

• Senior Key Person on the Front Arena team, responsible for implementing new structured products across the entire value chain—from the front office (Sales & Trading) to mid-office functions—to ensure accuracy
• Lead integration efforts between Front Arena and upstream/downstream systems
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production incidents
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, security, and compliance with standards
• Identify and implement system improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and resilience
• Contribute to change and release management processes within an agile (SAFe) environment
• Uphold ethical conduct, risk discipline, and compliance with all applicable regulations and internal controls

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in front-office roles supporting trading, mid-office, and settlement
• 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Front Arena AEL, ACM, and ADFL (all modules)
• A solid understanding of financial products, particularly structured products and/or derivatives
• In-depth knowledge of the capital market lifecycle (e.g., cash flows, corporate actions, maturities)
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on system improvement and efficiency
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps environment, particularly in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
• Extensive experience in the setup and lifecycle management of structured products across various product groups with a variety of underlying assets (e.g., single-stock or index-based structured notes and forward-starting options)
• Strong knowledge of accounting models and their impact on valuation, P&L, and risk reporting
• Ability to independently conduct research and translate the results into effective improvements
