Senior Front-End Developer
We are looking for a Senior Front Arena Developer (m/f/d) for a 12-month project with the possibility of extension, who has experience implementing structured products and integrating Front Arena with other systems. The successful candidate will be part of the Front Arena team at Julius Baer in Zurich and will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications.
Tasks
- Implementation of new structured products across the value chain, from the front office (Sales & Trading) through to mid-office functions, to ensure accurate production
- Lead integration efforts between Front Arena and upstream and downstream systems (pricing, market data, risk models)
- Efficiently conducting root-cause analyses and resolving complex production disruptions
- Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality, security, and compliance with architectural standards
- Identifying and implementing system improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and operational resilience
- Participation in change and release management processes within an agile (SAFe) delivery framework
- Adherence to ethical principles, risk discipline, and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in front-office roles supporting trading, mid-office, valuation, and risk
- Willingness to work on Swiss/Zurich public holidays when foreign markets are open (e.g., August 1)
