Senior Front Arena Risk Developer

Your challenge

• Customize and extend the Front Arena platform to deliver new risk and valuation capabilities
• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust functionalities that are integrated into trading and back-office ecosystems.
• Ensure end-to-end ownership of critical services to guarantee high availability and minimal production downtime.
• Lead integration efforts between Front Arena and upstream/downstream systems (pricing, market data, risk engines)
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production incidents efficiently
• Participate in the on-call rotation for 24/7 production support to ensure rapid incident response and resolution.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, security, and compliance with architectural standards.
• Identify and implement system improvements to increase performance, scalability, and operational resilience.
• Contribute to change and release management processes within an agile (SAFe) delivery framework
• Maintain ethical behavior, risk discipline, and compliance with all applicable legal requirements.

Your profile

• 8+ years of experience in IT roles supporting trading, valuation, or risk systems
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Front Arena AEL, ACM, and ADFL (all three required)
• Solid understanding of capital markets, especially structured products and equity derivatives
• Deep understanding of financial product lifecycles (e.g., cash flows, corporate actions, maturities)
• Hands-on experience with Front Arena data models, workflows, and component interactions
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, familiarity with MS-SQL, servers, and Windows-based environments
• Experience in agile teams with tools such as Git or Bitbucket
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
• Comfortable under pressure, with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize stakeholders
