Senior Full-Stack Java Developer - GUI & Interfaces for Lending Positioning Pool (100%) (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to develop GUIs and interfaces for the Lending Positioning Pool. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a new solution and should have experience with Java, Spring Boot, Oracle databases, and CI/CD pipelines.

Tasks

- Ensure full auditability by maintaining detailed, up-to-date documentation of code, data flows, and configurations - Development of a new solution

Your requirements

  • Proven track record as a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer, preferably in a banking environment
  • In-depth understanding of ETL processes and hands-on experience with data integration tools such as Spring Boot, Apache Camel, or Talend
  • Practical experience with APIs and streaming (Kafka) or equivalent integration platforms
  • Proficiency in Oracle databases and the ability to write PL/SQL efficiently for data processing
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Codeak, or similar tools
  • Experience in end-to-end delivery to ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit-compliant documentation
  • Ability to work closely with markets, business teams, and stakeholders in various locations to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines
  • Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot, SQL (Oracle), React/Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kubernetes (PKS) and virtual machines, streaming with Kafka, Avro, OpenAPI, UML
  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a can-do attitude
  • A quick learner with an understanding of the business context and a "can-do" attitude
  • Fluent in English; German is preferred
