Senior FX Specialist (Advisor)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior FX Specialist (Advisor) in Zurich to develop and deliver strong FX advisory capabilities for our private banking clients. This newly created role will focus on building relationships with client relationship officers (CROs) and engaging clients with relevant and timely FX solutions.

Tasks and responsibilities

- As a subject matter expert, the candidate will work directly with private banking clients and collaborate with CROs to provide tailored FX advice and solutions. - Manage a highly diverse client base at a high level of complexity. - Complement the efforts of CROs by bringing extensive market experience and product knowledge to client conversations. - Offering tailored solutions across the full spectrum of FX products that align with clients’ objectives, risk profiles, and prevailing market conditions. - Taking responsibility for the entire trading cycle: You will anticipate business needs and offer unique solutions—from identifying opportunities to providing post-trade support. - Monitor macroeconomic and market developments and translate insights into actionable advice. - Play a key role in expanding FX advisory services within the Swiss booking center and strengthening internal awareness of the offering. - Be responsible for delivering tactical business objectives that are financially measurable and have a cross-functional impact.

Requirements

- 15 years of experience in FX advisory within a private banking or asset management environment. - In-depth knowledge of FX markets and macroeconomic trends. - Comfortable interacting with clients and CROs in a thoughtful, clear, and solution-oriented manner. - Independent and self-directed in identifying opportunities and executing them. - Strong attention to detail, particularly in execution and follow-up. - Fluency in English required; knowledge of German, French, or Italian is a plus.
