EFG International is looking for an experienced Head Receptionist to lead the front of house team and deliver excellent customer service based on five-star hotel standards. The position offers a dynamic working environment and extensive benefits.

Job description

Tasks

  • Lead and manage the Front Desk team to ensure excellent, tailored service to all customers and visitors to five star hotel standards.
  • Coordinate with various departments to enhance the customer experience, including appointment setting, concierge services, event support, and room and meeting services.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Develop and implement service protocols that meet luxury hotel standards.
  • Train, mentor and develop employees to ensure consistency and excellence in customer service.
  • Manage customer requests efficiently, with attention to detail and a personalized approach.
  • Perform reception related tasks including scheduling, correspondence, reporting and event coordination.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Head Receptionist, Front Office Manager or similar role in a luxury hotel or high-end service environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a service mentality.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Discretion, tact and confidentiality when processing sensitive customer information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain calm and professionalism under pressure.
  • An international outlook and cultural awareness are essential, as is the ability to build relationships with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • Knowledge of the financial or banking sector is an advantage, but not required.
