Senior Trader Delta-1

Job description

As a senior Delta-1 trader, you will be responsible for managing risk positions in our linear structured products. The trading desk's wide range of tasks extends from cash equities and tracker certificates & AMCs to the management of cash holdings from our product missions.

Tasks

• P&L and risk management for the relevant trading books, with a focus on a balanced risk/return ratio
• Design and implementation of new hedging strategies within the existing product portfolio
• Optimization of the combination of physical and synthetic hedges to improve balance sheet and liquidity costs
• Active project collaboration in product and platform development (collaboration with stakeholders and IT departments as well as external partners)
• Preparing employees as a team to ensure the operational management of a broad range of tasks and products

Requirements

• Master's degree in a technical, natural science, or economics field of study
• Many years of experience in pricing, trading, and risk management of delta 1 derivative books (equities, fixed income, derivatives, funds, commodities, PM, FX, credit, etc.)
• Many years of experience in pricing, handling, and trading active managed certificates, as well as active involvement in product and platform development
• Experience in dealing with synthetic hedging strategies (including IRS, TRF, SSF)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a passion for actively shaping and building new trading infrastructure and platforms
• Very good knowledge of German and English
