Senior HR Business Partner

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will support Vontobel's Corporate Functions as a strategic advisor and operational partner to senior leaders to drive people strategies, organizational health and performance excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for talent and leadership development, employee engagement and change management.

Tasks

  • Act as a strategic advisor and operational partner for senior executives in our corporate functions
  • Driving people strategies, organizational health and performance excellence
  • Support talent and leadership development, employee engagement and change management
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior leaders and drive the people agenda forward
  • Design and implement talent management, performance, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and culture initiatives aligned with business priorities
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team in the recruitment of leadership and critical roles and act as a talent pusher
  • Lead employee lifecycle activities including investigations, separations and critical (people days)
  • Provide insights into organizational health metrics (e.g., turnover, retention, diversity) to support data-driven decisions
  • Coaching managers and teams on values, culture, team effectiveness and leadership excellence
  • Actively shaping organizational change processes and transformation initiatives
  • Act as deputy to the Head of HR Centers of Excellence and drive key projects in the HR team

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in senior HR business partner roles, preferably in corporate functions such as legal, compliance, finance, audit or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of the entire employee lifecycle and HR strategy development
  • Experience in influencing and coaching C-level stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Strategic thinker with action-oriented execution skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to use data to guide decisions and drive improvements
  • Resilient, results-oriented, empathetic and able to deal confidently with uncertainty
  • Fluent in English (oral and written); knowledge of German is an added advantage
