Senior IAM Analyst

Man Group is seeking an experienced Senior Identity and Access Management Analyst (IAM) to join the IAM team and play a key role in overseeing and executing day-to-day functions. The Senior IAM Analyst will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks, managing access requests, and developing access control policies.

Tasks

As a Senior Identity and Access Management Analyst (IAM), you will be part of the IAM team within the enterprise risk function. Your responsibilities will include:
  • IAM operations: Performing daily tasks and managing requests as part of a defined team rotation
  • Incident response: Investigating and resolving information security incidents, access issues, and escalations
  • Service management: Operating the identity and access management system (IAM) to ensure timely provisioning and removal
  • Stakeholder engagement: Partner with HR, IR, and business units to translate requirements into effective IAM solutions
  • Access control engineering: Development and improvement of access control policies, procedures, and standards in line with best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Access reviews and certification: Support for access reviews and recertification campaigns with stakeholders
  • Audit support: Providing evidence for internal and external audits, resolving findings, and complying with audit requirements
  • Process improvement: Identifying opportunities for automating and optimizing IAM processes
  • Onboarding: Supporting the onboarding of applications, systems, and service accounts into IAM with product and project engineering teams
  • Documentation and reporting: Maintaining comprehensive IAM documentation, creating regular metrics and reports
  • Privileged Access Management: Support for the management and monitoring of privileged accounts to ensure best practice principles

Requirements

Essential:
  • 7+ years of experience in identity and access management
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts; RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, and federation protocols (SAML, ADFS)
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and LDAP directory services
  • Knowledge of access governance principles, segregation of duties (SoD), and least privilege models
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, e.g., GDPR, GCHQ, ISO 27001/2/5/9
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
  • Background in the financial services or highly regulated industry
  • Classic certifications, e.g., CISSP, CISM, IAM/IdentityNow; Sentry, One Identity Manager
  • Experience with privileged access management (PAM) tools, e.g., BeyondTrust, CyberArk
  • Understanding of core concepts of information security in relation to IAM
