Senior Internal Auditor - Permanent Contract (100%) - Geneva

Tasks

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management to enhance business processes and controls
• Develop and implement audit plans, programs, and tools to achieve audit objectives
• Perform audit testing, including transaction testing, process walkthroughs, and system evaluations
• Document audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations in clear and concise reports
• Present audit results to management and other stakeholders, and follow up on the implementation of recommended actions

Requirements

• Professional certification in internal auditing (CIA, CISA, or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management frameworks, and control methodologies
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office and audit software
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or other languages is an asset
