Senior Investment Banking Analyst - M&A (Madrid, Spain)

Key tasks

• Development and maintenance of complex financial models, including DCF, LBO and trade/transaction comparison analysis.
• Preparation and analysis of financial reports, valuation ratios and key industry trends.
• Leading the preparation of client presentations, investment memoranda and marketing materials.
• Support in the execution of ongoing transactions, including process management, due diligence, negotiations and deal structuring.
• Assistance in the creation and development of new business opportunities through market and business research.
• Work with senior bankers and clients to provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Coordination with external stakeholders such as lawyers, accountants and consultants.
• Supervision and guidance of junior analysts in financial modeling, presentation preparation and industry research.

Requirements

• Education: Strong academic background with a degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field. CFA designation is a plus.
• Experience: 3-4 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, corporate development or management consulting with strong exposure to financial analysis.
