Senior Investment Consultant

Your Role

As a Senior Investment Consultant at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will serve as the trusted investment expert for our advisory clients. By working directly with them, you will translate market insights into sound portfolio decisions, driving results from the initial proposal through to regular, comprehensive performance reviews.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide customized, multi-asset-class investment advice to ultra-high-net-worth clients, family offices, and sophisticated private banking clients across various regions
• Build and monitor investment portfolios, providing advice on asset allocation and strategic and tactical investments across all asset classes
• Maintain regular communication with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings
• Analyze financial markets to develop and monitor client investment strategies
• Work with the global Investment Consulting team to generate investment ideas and collaborate with Private Banking teams to grow the investment consulting business

Your Profile

• Master's degree in business, finance, or a related field; CFA certification is a plus
• At least 10 years of client-facing experience in a senior investment advisory role within the private banking industry
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments across all asset classes
• Knowledge of Regulatory Frameworks (MiFID, etc.)
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg; experience with Avaloq is preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills, flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
