Senior Investment Writer

Position Summary

The Senior Investment Writer role is a position within the Global Marketing team responsible for creating corporate, investment, marketing, and branding content.

Responsibilities

The tasks include:

• Creating and revising thought leadership content in both long-form and short-form formats across all media (including articles, videos, infographics, market insights, press editorials, and social media posts)
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Investments, Product Development, Compliance, and Marketing
• Developing expertise in Man Group's content management, compliance, and data visualization/creative technology
• Developing compelling content ideas that highlight the value of our investment offering
• Ensuring that content effectively conveys and reinforces our message
• Tailoring content to our institutional, wealth management, and intermediary client segments, with a growing understanding of the level of sophistication and the needs of each target group
• Creating data-driven thought leadership content to maximize the impact of content through promotional channels
• Stay up to date on relevant financial news

Technical Competencies

The requirements include:

• At least two years of experience in writing and publishing thought leadership articles for an investment manager or hedge fund
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
• Experience collaborating across asset classes and product teams
• A solid understanding of markets and investment products/vehicles
• Exceptional attention to detail as a copywriter and editor; delivery of high-quality technical analysis in intellectual property products, with accuracy and attention to detail, verifying details when reviewing charts and historical analyses
• Monitoring/editorial judgment: to ensure that Man Group speaks to its various target audiences in a way that resonates with them
• A commercial mindset, combined with in-depth expertise in asset classes and markets
• Driven, self-motivated, growth mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
• Understanding and Implementing Regulatory and Compliance Requirements/Regulations
