Senior IT Architect

Tasks

Your responsibilities will include:- Consulting and review of solution designs for applications to ensure a robust and future-proof architecture.
- Further development and implementation of governance mechanisms and documentation standards to ensure compliance with IT standards.
- Consulting on software and cloud architectures, DevOps principles, and strategies for accelerating release cycles.
- Close collaboration with the IT Delivery Organization and other stakeholders to design a business-oriented and sustainable IT architecture.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:- More than 5 years of experience in IT architecture
- a degree (from a university, ETH, teacher training college, or university of applied sciences) in computer science
- German (business fluent) and English (fluent)
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, application platforms, security and software architectures, as well as solid technical expertise
- Experience in setting up and using EA frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, etc.) as well as the underlying enterprise repository tools
- Experience in end-to-end IT architecture, cloud technologies, and data architectures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information to management, including C-level executives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
