Senior IT Project Manager - Liquidity Risk Management Asia (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the implementation and customization of the "Liquidity Risk Management Asia" project and to enhance internal liquidity controls and tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all administrative aspects of the project and communicating with various stakeholders.

Tasks

  • Management of all administrative aspects of the project lifecycle, including progress reporting, financial tracking, forecast updates, resource planning, and risk and issue tracking
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders in IT, Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Compliance, providing clear and timely communication tailored to the needs of the audience
  • Preparation and delivery of high-quality presentations for steering committees, executive sponsors, and operational teams
  • Facilitating a smooth transition and a sustainable handover of the delivered solutions to operational organizations, supported by appropriate documentation and change enablement activities
  • Application of agile principles and tools, particularly Jira and Confluence, for backlog tasks and knowledge management

Requirements

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects with CIB budgets > CHF 1 million
  • Familiarity with liquidity risk management frameworks, regulatory reporting, or treasury operations at a financial institution
  • Proven experience leading global, matrix-style projects involving internal and external teams as well as third-party vendors
  • Action-oriented approach to project implementation, with a proven ability to independently manage all operational aspects of large-scale IT projects, including regular reporting, budget tracking, financial control, resource allocation, and milestone forecasting
  • Solid knowledge of modern project management tools, particularly Jira and Confluence
  • Certified project manager (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups across cultures and time zones
  • A quick learner with strong analytical skills, capable of quickly grasping complex business contexts, regulatory drivers, and technical landscapes
  • Problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, empathy, and relationship management skills are essential for successful collaboration
