Senior IT Project Manager - Liquidity Risk Management Asia (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the implementation and customization of the "Liquidity Risk Management Asia" project and to enhance internal liquidity controls and tools. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the project, communicating with stakeholders, and monitoring project progress.

Tasks

  • Manage all administrative aspects of the project lifecycle, including progress reporting, financial tracking, forecast updates, resource planning, and risk and issue tracking
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across IT, Finance, Treasury, Risk & Compliance, providing clear and timely communication tailored to the needs of each audience
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to steering committees, executive sponsors, and operational teams
  • Ensure a smooth transition and sustainable handover of delivered solutions to operations organizations, supported by adequate documentation and change enablement activities
  • Effectively apply agile principles and tools, particularly by using Jira and Confluence for backlog, task, and knowledge management

Requirements

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects with CIB budgets exceeding CHF 1 million
  • Experience with liquidity risk management frameworks, regulatory reporting, or treasury operations at a financial institution
  • Proven experience leading global, cross-functional projects involving internal and external teams, as well as third-party vendors
  • A hands-on approach to project execution, with a proven ability to independently manage all operational aspects of large-scale IT projects, including regular reporting, budget tracking, financial controlling, resource allocation, and milestone forecasting
  • Proficiency in modern project management tools, particularly Jira and Confluence
  • Certified Project Manager (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups across cultures and time zones
  • A quick learner with strong analytical skills, capable of quickly grasping complex business contexts, regulatory drivers, and technical landscapes
  • A problem-solving attitude, emotional intelligence, empathy, and relationship management skills are essential for collaborative success
