Senior IT Project Manager - Liquidity Risk Management Asia (Full-Time) (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the implementation and customization of the "Liquidity Risk Management Asia" project and to enhance internal liquidity controls and tools. The position is advertised as a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension in Zurich.
Tasks
- Manage the implementation and customization of "Liquidity Risk Management Asia" to enhance internal liquidity controls and tools and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage approvals, Stage-Gate reviews, and minimum security and control standards
- Manage all administrative aspects of the project lifecycle, including progress reporting, financial tracking, forecast updates, resource planning, and risk and issue tracking
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders in IT, finance, treasury, risk, and compliance, providing clear and timely communication tailored to the needs of the audience
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations for steering committees, executive sponsors, and operational teams
- Support a smooth transition and the sustainable handover of delivered solutions to operational organizations, with appropriate documentation and change enablement activities
- Effectively apply agile principles and tools, particularly Jira and Confluence for backlog tasks and knowledge management
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects with OTB budgets exceeding CHF 1 million
- Familiarity with liquidity risk management frameworks, regulatory reporting, or treasury operations at a financial institution
- Proven experience leading global, matrix-style projects involving internal and external teams as well as third-party vendors
- A hands-on approach to project implementation, with a proven ability to independently manage all operational aspects of large-scale IT projects, including regular reporting, budget tracking, financial control, resource allocation, and milestone forecasting
- Solid knowledge of modern project management tools, particularly Jira and Confluence
- Certified project manager (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups across cultures and time zones
- A quick learner with strong analytical skills, able to quickly grasp complex business contexts
