Tasks

The Senior IT Project Manager for Pricing leads the end-to-end delivery of Julius Baer's strategic core system replacement, with a focus on the pricing portal and cost simulation solutions. The tasks include:

• Definition and maintenance of integrated project plans, tracking of milestones, management of dependencies, and coordination of activities across distributed development and support teams
• Organizing and leading regular delivery meetings, status reviews, and steering committee meetings to ensure alignment and transparency
• Implementation of risk and issue management processes to proactively identify, escalate, and resolve blockages that affect delivery times or quality
• Preparation and presentation of comprehensive progress reports, dashboards, and financial overviews for governance forums and senior leadership
• Coordination of integration efforts across domains, particularly with regard to data flows, API contracts, and shared components that influence price calculations and simulations, in close collaboration with the agile pricing ART and application owners
• Facilitation of change control processes and ensuring proper impact assessment for changes in scope or technical deviations
• Support for business acceptance testing and transition to operations activities to ensure readiness and sustainability
• Overseeing iterative development cycles performed by agile teams to ensure consistency with release goals, compliance standards, and architecture guidelines
• Ensuring traceability of business requirements to delivered features, especially for components related to cost modeling and simulation

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• 3+ years of experience as a senior IT project manager with proven experience in IT/software development environments
• Experience in the banking industry, particularly in pricing and revenue, would be a significant advantage.
• Willingness and motivation to learn about the pricing solution
• Classic project and program management experience is mandatory, with a good understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methods.
• Ability to operate effectively at both levels (tactical and strategic)
• Knowledge of agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Self-motivated, communicative personality with a keen interest in new challenges and an independent, responsible approach to work
