Senior IT Service Owner
Bank J. Safra Sarasin is looking for a Senior IT Service Owner who will be responsible for critical IT services in the area of compliance and who has experience in IT service management and knowledge of compliance processes in banks. The Senior IT Service Owner will be part of the IT Group Services team and will be responsible for the development and evolution of IT services as well as communication with stakeholders.
Your role
As a Senior IT Service Owner at the bank, you will be part of our IT Group Service Team and responsible for critical, compliance-related IT services, including service management, service operations, change management, and application support.Your tasks
- Understanding business objectives and developing/refining corresponding IT services in the area of compliance-related processes such as account opening, periodic KYC verification, fraud prevention, or fund transfer compliance.
- Communication and coordination with all parties involved
- Ensuring and maintaining the IT service catalog and service documentation
- Ensuring and coordinating incident, problem, and change management processes
- Assessing and mitigating service risks and responding to risk-related matters such as audits, access rights controls, and risk assessments
- Identify and implement continuous service improvements through automation and process improvement in accordance with ITIL practices.
- Manage, monitor, and report on service level agreements and performance
- Managing software support and maintenance contracts
Your profile
- University degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field, or completed vocational training or similar banking training
- Industry-specific knowledge is required
- Proven ability and experience in IT service management
- Strong knowledge of bank compliance processes (account opening, KYC, AML, KYT, fraud prevention, etc.)
- Knowledge of ITIL practices is required.
- Ability to weigh problems and set priorities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously at a high level of quality
- Fluent English; fluent German and/or French is an advantage
