Senior IT Service Owner

As a Senior IT Service Owner at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be responsible for critical compliance-related IT services and drive service management, service operation, change management and application support. You are part of the IT Group Services team and are responsible for the design and further development of IT services in the area of compliance-related processes.

Your role

As a Senior IT Service Owner at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be part of our IT Group Services team and responsible for critical, compliance-related IT services that drive service management, service operation, change management and application support.

Your tasks

  • Understand the business objectives and design/deploy appropriate IT services in the area of compliance related processes such as account opening, periodic KYC review, fraud detection or compliance referral
  • Communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of the IT service catalog and service documentation
  • Ensure the coordination of incident, problem and change management processes
  • Evaluate and mitigate service risks and respond to risk-related issues such as audits, access rights controls and risk assessments
  • Identify and implement continuous service improvements through automation, process improvement according to ITIL practices
  • Manage, monitor and report on service level agreements and performance
  • Manage software support and maintenance contracts

Your profile

  • University degree in information technology, computer science, business administration or a related field or completed apprenticeship or similar banking training
  • Industry-specific knowledge is required
  • Proven ability and experience in IT Service Management
  • Strong knowledge of bank compliance processes (account opening, KYC, AML, KYT, fraud detection, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices is required
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize problems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to complete several tasks simultaneously at a high level of quality
  • Fluent in English; fluent in German and/or French is a plus
