Senior Java Developer - Modern Markets Apps (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Work in a DevOps environment to diagnose and resolve technical issues across the entire stack, as well as provide support for development and production environments
• Deploying our services on Kubernetes using automated processes with Octopus Deploy
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to refine requirements
• Taking ownership and driving new requirements and features to proactively design solutions that meet functional and cross-functional requirements
• Working in an agile environment where you have a significant impact on results as part of a geographically dispersed team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a senior Java developer, including at least two years with Java 17 or later, ideally within the same domain
• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle), Kafka, MQ, event-driven architecture, and batch processing
• Strong knowledge of multithreading and memory management in Java
• Strong focus on automation and software quality
• Test-driven development, experience with JUnit, test containers, and other test automation tools
• Experience with observability platforms (Elastic/Kibana, Grafana)
• Experience with on-premises and cloud deployments in container-based environments such as Kubernetes
• Ability to work in an agile environment
• Experience in operating and supporting applications in complex environments that require collaboration across teams and time zones
• Willingness to work in a global team with members in Singapore and Switzerland
• Positive thinking, a positive personality, and a can-do attitude
• Self-motivated, capable, and willing to work with minimal supervision
