Tasks

• Building tools, platforms, and algorithms that support Man's investment engine
• Development of execution algorithms, platforms, simulation environments, and routers
• Connection to execution facilities and brokers
• Tests for high-touch and quant traders
• Monitorability and real-time performance analytics

Requirements

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Java
• Database / SQL skills
• Strong software skills and ability to work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues
• Background in strong software engineering techniques and agile methods
• Proficient in Linux and Windows platforms

Advantageous skills

• Sound understanding of financial markets and instruments
• Experience working with FIX
• Experience working closely with quants and/or traders
• Experience in front office software and/or trading systems development
• Expertise in building distributed systems with service-based or event-driven architectures
• Experience in web-based development (TypeScript/Javascript)
• Relevant mathematical knowledge

• Strong academic background and degree with a high level of mathematical and computer-based content
• Software development experience/engineering
