Senior Java Engineer - Market Data Platform

Tasks

The Market Data Platform team helps develop self-service data discovery tools that process billions of data records from thousands of data sources every day. The platform combines open-source technology with in-house development, MongoDB, and more.

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• Strong academic background and a degree with a high mathematical and computer science content, e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, or physics
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with Java or Python as the primary language
• Knowledge of Java frameworks and deep understanding of design patterns
• Deep knowledge of one or more relevant databases/technologies such as Iceberg, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Strong programming skills and the ability to deliver high-quality code
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and gather stakeholder requirements
