Senior Lead - Technology Risk & Control Assessment - ITSM

Job description

The position as Senior Lead - Technology Risk & Control Assessment - ITSM involves responsibility for consulting, implementation, and management of technical solutions in various areas of technology risk.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Change and problem management processes to ensure compliance with guidelines and standards
• Identification of control gaps, weaknesses, and process deviations, as well as clear presentation of causes and risk impacts
• Validation that controls are properly defined, documented, and executed
• Documentation of control assessment results and supporting artifacts in ServiceNow / Integrated Risk Management Tooling
• Support in identifying, documenting, and escalating control issues
• Participation in working groups and governance forums related to control effectiveness and RCA readiness
• Identifying issues, trends, and systemic problems in ITSM control assessments and recommending process improvements
• Maintaining knowledge of industry-wide standards and best practices in the area of ITSM controls and risk management

Requirements

The requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, typically with 10+ years of experience in technology risk, security, or control environments
• Recognized technical expert with in-depth knowledge in one or more specialist areas and solid working knowledge in related areas.
• Proven analytical skills, common sense, and strong consulting and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, IT executives, employees, suppliers, and stakeholders
