Senior Lombard Lending Client Advisor (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Senior Lombard Lending Client Advisor to advise clients on credit opportunities and drive the development of Lombard products. The ideal candidate will have experience in Lombard lending and a client-focused, proactive approach.

Tasks

The position of Senior Lombard Lending Client Advisor involves the following responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the front office in a collaborative approach, acting as a product expert to advise clients on loan options that align with their financial goals and risk profile
  • Analyzing Lombard collateral risks and financial margin capacity by coordinating with front-office units and clients to gather necessary client financial information
  • Developing and maintaining front-office and client relationships to promote additional Lombard-related credit products and services
  • Coordinate and streamline the workflow among all relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth process
  • Advise, influence, and support both internal and external stakeholders with a focus on business growth
  • Development of new Lombard-related product guidelines and specific first-line monitoring processes for new Lombard products
  • Improving existing marketing materials, brochures, internal and external presentations, and intranet and website pages to promote Lombard loans on a global scale
  • Development and coordination of specific regional Lombard campaigns
  • Support for the Product Investment Solutions units in Investment Advisory, Wealth Planners, Cross-Asset Sales, and Trading

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:
  • A customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • In-depth understanding of Lombard loan principles, Lombard loan structuring, Lombard loan guidelines and regulations, as well as industry practices
  • Experience in developing specialized product campaigns and new credit lines
  • Customer-focused and advisory experience in negotiating and structuring Lombard solutions, including cash, collateral, and derivatives trading
  • Ability to conduct credit and collateral training for customer-facing staff to enable them to identify customer needs and provide appropriate advice
  • Understanding the monitoring aspects of Lombard-related exposure risk management from the perspective of collateral and customer top-ups
  • Support for the conceptual development of Lombard simulation and monitoring tools to assist customers
  • Previous experience in a Lombard loan role, preferably with a broad range of business activities and strong ambitions
  • Business English is required; German is a plus
