Senior Manager, AUM and Margins

The role

The role is based within the London-based finance department, works on the AUM Revenues & Commissions team, and is responsible for ensuring the complete and accurate reporting of the Group's assets under management (AUM) and revenue.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• AUM & Margins – Monitoring and Governance: Self-monitoring of the AUM reporting framework; ensuring the accuracy and completeness of revenue calculations
• Reporting to and Engaging with Senior Stakeholders: Preparing and presenting AUM and margin analyses for the CFO and other senior finance stakeholders
• Leadership, Oversight, and Process Improvement: Promoting continuous improvement, leading ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives
• Financial Control and Other Responsibilities: Participation in ad hoc projects, interpretation of accounting guidelines, and support for process improvement

Requirements

The requirements include:

• In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, including technical accounting principles in asset management
• A strong understanding of financial controls within a large, complex organization
• A professional certificate or equivalent work experience
• Substantial experience in financial accounting or a related operational finance role in asset management
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data and AUM trends to senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems, experience with general accounting platforms and reporting tools
