Senior Sustainability Specialist: 80% - 100% | Corporate Development / Strategy / Sustainability | Zurich | Experienced professionals

Tasks

• Developing sustainability requirements and criteria for the integration of sustainable products and services into business activities, particularly for the integration of sustainability into procurement and financing activities
• Developing methodological foundations, concepts, analyses, and benchmarking for current sustainability issues, as well as translating current sustainable finance frameworks (UN PRB, UNEP FI Net Zero Frameworks, ISSB/GRI, SBTI, TCFD, and TNFD) for the further development and implementation of overall cultural guidelines such as sustainability policy, further development of the ZK net-zero transition plan, and creation of a foundation for the topic of nature project lessons, collaboration on projects, and provision of consulting services for various departments of the bank to strengthen the integration of sustainability into its core business.

Requirements

• Master's degree in sustainable finance, economics, or natural sciences
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a group sustainability department or at the interface between sustainability and banking/the financial sector and/or several years of banking experience, particularly in the sustainable finance department
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong service orientation
• Profound knowledge of sustainable finance and sustainability, you are familiar with the relevant frameworks (e.g., UN PRB, NZBA, SBTI, TCFD/TNFD, ISSB/GRI) and have experience in translating these frameworks into banking
• Communicate fairly, in writing, quickly, and verbally in a manner appropriate to the audience and level (in German)
• You are resilient, flexible, and a strong team player.
