Senior Sustainability Specialist: 80% - 100% | Corporate Development / Strategy / Sustainability | Zurich | Experienced professionals

Tasks

• Developing sustainability requirements and criteria for sustainable product and service integration
• Integrating sustainability into procurement and financing activities
• Developing methodological principles, concepts, analyses, and benchmarking for current sustainability issues, as well as translating current sustainable finance frameworks (UN PRB, UNEP FI Net Zero Frameworks, ISSB/GRI, SBTI, TCFD, and TNFD) for the further development and implementation of bank-wide guidelines such as the Sustainability Policy, further development of the ZKB Net Zero Transition Plan, and creation of a foundation for the topic of nature
• Project managers, participation in projects, and provision of consulting services for various departments of the bank to strengthen the integration of sustainability into core business activities

Requirements

• Master's degree in sustainable finance, economics, or natural sciences
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a group sustainability department or at the interface between sustainability and banking/the financial sector and/or several years of banking experience, particularly in the sustainable finance department
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong service orientation
• Profound knowledge of sustainable finance and sustainability, you are familiar with the relevant frameworks (e.g., UN PRB, NZBA, SBTI, TCFD/TNFD, ISSB/GRI) and have experience in translating these frameworks into banking
• Communicate fairly, in writing, skillfully, and verbally in a manner appropriate to the audience and level (in German)
• You are resilient, flexible, and a strong team player.
