Senior Network Engineer

Job description

Join us as a Senior Network Engineer on the Infrastructure Engineering team, and you’ll be part of a team that builds and operates the platform that powers Man Group’s business. You should be enthusiastic about using AI/ML development tools to deliver continuously and drive their adoption across teams.

role responsibility

- Promote and adhere to technology best practices by combining strong engineering skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of industry trends and best practices to develop reliable, high-performance, and robust solutions. - Build and manage Man Group’s infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud, using technologies such as Pivotal and Wintel. - Integrating Ansible, Terraform, and other automation tools with network systems and services. - Collaborating closely with business partners in a dynamic environment. - You will be able to leverage your technical expertise to deliver complex network solutions using software-driven and agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Experience in operating and deploying network infrastructure
• Experience with routing and switching platforms
• Experience troubleshooting transport protocols (TCP/UDP)
• Proven experience with network operating systems (EOS, VSS, ISIS, EIGRP)
• Basic knowledge of the following products: Arista Networks, Cisco Networking, Aviat Networks
• A solid understanding of how networks work
• You will need to use these tools to automate your workflow and increase efficiency
• Experience in performance and capacity planning in complex environments
• Organizational or other technical skills
