Senior Network Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Tasks

- Promote and adhere to best practices in technology through strong engineering skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of industry trends and best practices to develop reliable, high-performance, and robust solutions - Building and managing Man Group’s infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud, using technologies such as Python - Integrating Ansible, Terraform, and other automation tools with network systems and services - Working closely with business partners in a dynamic environment - Providing technical expertise to deliver complex network infrastructures using software-driven and agile methodologies

Requirements

- Experience in operating and deploying network infrastructure - Experience with routing and switching platforms - Experience troubleshooting transport protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) - Proven experience with security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP) - Strong knowledge of the following products: Cisco, Arista Networks - Experience automating workloads to improve efficiency - Organized or willing to learn throughput and performance optimization in complex environments - Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain a high level of customer engagement - Our ideal candidate: A clear and articulate team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment but is also self-motivated - Advocates for agile engineering practices – enthusiasm and ability to work effectively with AI-powered development tools as part of the daily workflow
