Senior Non-Financial Risk Expert, Full-Time (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Serve as the lead for independent quality assurance (design and operational effectiveness) of the relevant key internal risk types
• Overseeing internal quality control and non-financial risk audits at all relevant locations for the relevant local key controls, as well as reporting the audit results to FINMA
• Providing guidance on the internal control framework and tools to international locations for the relevant local key risk types
• Identification of internal control weaknesses and recommendations for areas of process improvement
• Development and Improvement of the Quality Assurance Framework
• Leading meetings with senior management and various stakeholders at international locations

Requirements

• A college degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in economics, business, or finance
• At least 5–8 years of professional experience in private banking, preferably in compliance, risk, or control roles, or at an international consulting firm in the areas of risk (credit / market regulations / market allocations / treasury) and/or non-financial risk (operational risk, cyber risk, model risk, model validation)
• A solid understanding of and leadership skills in private banking
• Strong organizational, team-building, and interpersonal skills
• A senior-level professional with easy access to senior management, a high degree of empathy, charm, and good manners
