Senior Officer, Operations
The Senior Officer, Operations is responsible for processing structured notes and derivative trades, as well as for the daily reconciliation of trader blocks and the management of market prices. The employee works closely with traders, brokers, and custodian banks to resolve issues in the settlement of trades.
Job description
Tasks
- Responsible for processing structured notes and derivative trading transactions
- Performs daily reconciliations of trader blotters against system records and broker trade confirmations
- Handles trade processing and market data management
- Works with the head office to create SecMaster and maintains the market price update
- Communicates with traders, brokers and custodians to resolve any settlement issues or discrepancies
- Maintains proper transaction records
- Communicate with the sales team in case of problems with derivative trading entries
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal guidelines related to processing
- Takes on ad hoc projects as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a bank or financial institution, preferably in the area of securities settlement
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
Preferred skills
- Knowledge of SWIFT / Clearstream / CCASS
