Senior Oracle DBA

Your role

As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for the operation, support, and ongoing development of our Oracle environment worldwide, and for providing a high-quality storage service for the bank's critical applications.

Your tasks

• Operational support, including troubleshooting and incident management
• Implementation of change requests (RFCs) in accordance with existing procedures and protocols
• Optimizing resource utilization by analyzing and proposing improvements, taking into account the lifecycle management of the hosted applications
• Development and implementation of automated solutions
• Collaboration on the ongoing development of existing infrastructure and active support for migration projects
• Conducting recovery exercises and troubleshooting as part of Level 2 support, including on-call service

Your profile

• Higher education (university or university of applied sciences) in computer science or another relevant field
• At least 7 years of practical experience in database operations and engineering
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and PostgreSQL is required
• Experience with Ansible automation is a plus
• A strong team player with the ability to identify synergies
• Practical mindset and willingness to take on responsibility
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and a high sense of responsibility
• Fluent English; fluent German is an advantage
