Senior Payment & Investigation Specialist (m/f) Full-time

Job description

The Payments Division is part of the Operations Department, which provides a service critical to our success by efficiently and reliably processing daily tasks. Are you a dedicated, proactive, and open-minded individual who is well-versed in the banking aspects of modern payment systems, actively contributes to the team, and works exceptionally well with others?

Tasks

• Participation in projects and system testing related to the implementation of new or improved applications, automation, digitization, and process optimization
• Technical consulting for internal and external departments, as well as conducting the necessary investigations
• Correspondence and telephone contact with internal and external parties, including our external payment service providers
• Monitoring and processing of pending and closed transactions
• Refunds from claims for repayment by external banks

Requirements

• Completed banking apprenticeship or basic commercial training with additional training in banking
• 3–5 years of experience in international and domestic payment processing at a bank
• Familiarity with the IT system landscape in banking and payment transactions
• Knowledge of Finova and Finansta is a plus
• Experience in project management related to payment transactions at a bank
• A self-motivated, service-oriented individual with strong communication skills
• A strong sense of responsibility and duty, excellent self-management and self-discipline
