Senior Payment & Investigation Specialist (m/f) Full-time

Glarner Kantonalbank is seeking a Senior Payment & Investigation Specialist who is well-versed in banking-related aspects of modern payment transactions and has experience in a bank’s international and domestic payment systems. The position offers a varied role with good opportunities for professional development and attractive employment terms.

Tasks

  • Participation in projects and system testing related to the implementation of new or improved applications, automation, digitization, and process optimization
  • Technical consulting for internal and external departments, as well as conducting the necessary investigations
  • Correspondence and telephone contact with internal and external parties, including our external payment service providers
  • Monitoring and processing of pending and closed transactions
  • Refunds from payment claims by external banks

Requirements

  • Completed banking apprenticeship or basic commercial training with additional training in banking
  • 3–5 years of experience in international and domestic payment processing at a bank
  • Familiarity with the IT system landscape in interbank payments
  • Knowledge of Ffnova and Finastro is a plus
  • Experience in project management related to payment transactions at a bank
  • A self-motivated, service-oriented individual with strong communication skills
  • A strong sense of responsibility and duty, and excellent self-management skills
