Senior Payment & Investigation Specialist (m/f)

Job description

The Payments Division is part of the Operations Department, which provides a service critical to the company’s success by efficiently and reliably processing daily tasks.

Tasks

• Collaborate on projects and system tests related to the implementation of new or improved applications, automation, digitization, and process optimization
• Technical consulting for internal and external departments, as well as conducting the necessary investigations
• Correspondence and telephone contact with internal and external parties, including our external payment service providers
• Monitoring and processing of pending and closed transactions
• Refunds from fraud recovery claims by external banks

Requirements

• Completed banking apprenticeship or basic commercial training with additional training in banking
• 3–5 years of experience in international and domestic payments at a bank
• Familiarity with the IT system landscape in banking and payment transactions
• Knowledge of Finova and Finanzsta is a plus
• Experience in project management related to payment transactions at a bank
• A self-motivated, service-oriented individual with strong communication skills
• A strong sense of responsibility and duty, excellent self-management skills, and
• Very good knowledge of German and English
