Senior Payment & Investigation Specialist (m/f)

Job description

Your tasks:

• Processing and release of domestic and foreign customer orders, as well as workflow processing EuroSIC, SIC, SWIFT and Dora verification
• Specialist advice for internal and external bodies and assumption of the corresponding clarifications
• Collaboration in projects and system tests for the implementation of new or improved applications, automation, digitalization and process optimization
• Processing of internal payment orders for trading, securities and mortgages
• Control and, if necessary, correspondence with internal and external bodies, including external payment service providers
• Review and processing of pending and completed transactions
• Processing of salaries and bank transfers
• Liquidity monitoring of correspondent accounts
• Returns from processing reclaims from external banks
• Representation of the Head of Payments

Your profile:

• Completed banking apprenticeship or basic commercial training with further banking training
• Sound professional experience in relationship management with correspondent banks
• 3 - 5 years of experience in international and national payment transactions at a bank
• Affinity for the IT system landscape in interbank payment transactions
• Financial knowledge is an advantage
• Interest and ideally experience in project management
• Confident oral and written expression in German. Additionally good knowledge of English
• High sense of responsibility and duty as well as good self-organization and willingness to go the "extra mile"
• Willingness to learn new things and grow with the bank
• Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
