Senior Platform Engineer / Senior DevOps Engineer

Taurus is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer / Senior DevOps Engineer. You will work on the Infrastructure Team ("Platform & Services"), at the heart of a dynamic fintech environment, to build and operate the infrastructure that powers our digital asset platform, enabling customers to safeguard, invest, and trade with confidence. Our team owns the entire lifecycle of production, testing, and development environments and provides the core services that enable engineering teams to build, deliver, and run solutions reliably and at scale. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely curious, comfortable working autonomously, and takes pride in keeping complex systems running smoothly while constantly seeking ways to improve and automate. Your main responsibilities will be: - Ensuring that production always runs efficiently - Operating services in production, test, and development environments, guaranteeing availability, efficiency, monitoring, alerting, resilience, on-call support, etc. - Designing, implementing, and managing cost-effective, large-scale infrastructure systems, including cloud services, networking, and storage solutions

Requirements

- 5+ years of hands-on experience operating services in complex and demanding environments and organizations – experience in financial services is a plus - Deep understanding of SRE principles and practices, including automation, monitoring, performance optimization, and incident management - Proven expertise in modern DevOps tools (Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, Shell) - Proven experience with various DevOps build and test processes, release management, and product lifecycle management - Ability to plan, deploy, and operate both simple and complex solutions and integrate them into existing production environments - Knowledge/experience in database manipulation (SQL) and software development, preferably in Go, Java, or Python - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Eager to learn, highly goal-oriented, and team-oriented - Experience leading, managing, and organizing engineering teams is a plus
