Senior Platform Engineer / Senior DevOps Engineer

Taurus is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer / Senior DevOps Engineer. You will work in the infrastructure team ("Platform & Services"), at the heart of a dynamic financial technology environment, to build and operate the infrastructure that powers our digital asset platform, enabling customers to protect, invest, and trade with confidence. Our team is responsible for the entire lifecycle of production, test, and development environments, providing the fundamental services that enable engineering teams to build, deliver, and run solutions reliably and at scale. We are looking for someone who is genuinely curious, comfortable working autonomously, and takes pride in keeping complex systems running smoothly while constantly looking for ways to improve and automate. Your primary responsibilities will be: * Ensuring that production always runs efficiently * Running services in production, test, and development environments, guaranteeing availability, efficiency, monitoring, alerting, resilience, on-call support, etc. * Designing, implementing, and managing cost-effective, large-scale infrastructure systems, including cloud services, network, and storage solutions

Requirements

* 5+ years of hands-on experience operating services in complex and demanding environments and organizations—financial services is a plus * Deep understanding of SRE principles and practices, including automation, monitoring, performance optimization, and incident management * Proven knowledge of modern DevOps tools (Linux, Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, Shell) * Proven experience in various DevOps build and test processes, release management, product lifecycle management * Ability to plan, deploy, and operate both simple and complex solutions and integrate them into existing production environments * Knowledge/experience in database manipulation (SQL) and software development, preferably in Go, Java, or Python * Impeccable written and verbal communication skills * Eagerness to learn, highly focused on the goal, team-oriented * Experience in leading, managing, and organizing engineering teams is a plus
