Senior Platform Engineer (f/m)

Your new job

• Work in a scrum team as part of an agile organization to meet the needs of different stakeholders
• Implementation and support of the basic IT infrastructure platform and its components, e.g:
  • IaaM and IDP platforms
  • Container and virtualization platforms
  • Data centers
  • Azure platform
  • Network and security infrastructure
• Automation and development of processes to further optimize the operation of the basic IT infrastructure platform and to support the organization in the transformation of systems to the cloud
• Identification and elimination of potential problems and errors in the basic IT infrastructure platform in order to minimize downtimes
• Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to ensure system performance and stability
• Stability and ensuring that the basic IT infrastructure platform meets security and data protection standards

• Several years of technical experience in the development and operation of basic IT infrastructure (incl. cloud infrastructure)
• Solid knowledge of several of the following technologies:
  • Entra
  • Active Directory
  • On-Prem
  • LDAP
  • ADFS
  • Group Policies
  • Azure Kubernetes Service
  • Docker
  • VMWare
  • SAN
  • Ansible
  • Terraform
• Curiosity paired with a good technical understanding of DevOps approaches, infrastructure-as-code and automation
• Experience with hypervisors, ideally with the Azure platform
• Preference for challenges plus independent and structured problem solving
• Bachelor or Master Computer Science
