About the role
The role of Senior Portfolio Analyst lies at the intersection of quantitative research, portfolio construction, and investment development. The initial focus is on the investment process, the outcome of which influences actual capital allocation and investment risk management. You will assume a team lead role within a team of portfolio managers and portfolio analysts and will have the autonomy to shape and improve the implementation of strategies.Responsibilities
- Handling day-to-day portfolio management tasks, including validating the implementation of investment strategies
- Implementation of the results of the portfolio construction process to ensure the integrity of our investment philosophy
- Generating and promoting new ideas in research and risk management, from conception to implementation
- Development of tools to assess and improve portfolio implementation and performance
- Launching signal enhancement initiatives in partnership with research teams and developing independent research projects with a clear path to implementation
- Adaptation of the analytical narrative for customer communications and presentations
- Collaborating with teams within Man Group to address investment, technical, and operational challenges
Key qualifications and experience
- Academic background in accounting, finance, statistics, computer science, economics, or mathematics
- Coding skills required; Python preferred
- Practical experience in handling and analyzing financial data
- Proficiency in accounting and financial analysis
- A deep interest in markets and financial markets
- Ability to communicate complex quantitative results clearly and comprehensibly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills and evidence of self-directed projects or research work
- Strong sense of integrity

Salary and benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $140,000 USD. The compensation package also includes benefits and bonus payments.
