- Overseeing daily portfolio management operations, including validating the implementation of investment strategies - Executing the results of the portfolio construction process to ensure the integrity of our investment philosophy and improve results - Collaborating with cross-functional teams and risk management to identify potential ideas across the entire investment portfolio - Developing tools to evaluate and improve portfolio implementation and performance - Driving signal enhancement initiatives in partnership with research teams and developing independent research ideas with a clear link to alpha and/or risk premiums - Crafting the analytical narrative for client communications and presentations - Collaborating with other teams within Man Group to solve investment, technical, and operational challengesRequirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, statistics, computer science, economics, or mathematics - Programming skills required; Python preferred - Solid understanding of accounting and financial analysis - Deep interest in investing and financial markets - Strong interest in communicating quantitative concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences - A strong track record of self-directed projects or research - Strong sense of integrityWhat we offer
