Senior Portfolio Analyst

Role Overview

The role of Senior Portfolio Analyst lies at the intersection of quantitative research, portfolio construction, and portfolio risk management. With daily visibility into how our investment decisions influence the actual capital allocation across our multi-billion-dollar global equity and fixed-income strategies, you can see the impact of your work and derive satisfaction from it. As a Senior Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Analyst, you will work side by side with a team of portfolio managers and portfolio analysts, with the autonomy to determine how strategies are implemented and improved.

Responsibilities

- Take responsibility for daily portfolio management workflows, including validating the implementation of investment strategies - Oversee the portfolio construction process to ensure the integrity of our investment philosophy - Generate and promote performance and risk management ideas from across the investment team - Design tools for evaluating and improving portfolio implementation and performance - Drive signal enhancement initiatives in partnership with research teams and develop independent research ideas with a clear path to impact - Own the analytical narrative for client communications and presentations - Work across teams to help Man Group solve investment, technical, and operational challenges

Key qualifications and experience

- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, statistics, computer science, economics, or mathematics - Programming experience required; Python preferred - Solid understanding of accounting and financial analysis - Deep interest in markets and financial markets - Ability to communicate complex ideas with quantitative precision to both technical and non-technical audiences - A strong track record of self-directed projects or research - A strong sense of integrity

Remuneration

The salary range for this position is $90,000–$175,000 USD. The compensation package also includes benefits and allowances.
