Senior Private Markets Product Specialist

EFG International is seeking a Senior Private Markets Product Specialist in Zurich to lead sales efforts for private markets and deliver a first-class client experience. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of industry experience and excellent communication skills.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Private Markets Product Specialist to join our team in Zurich. This role is part of our Private Markets team and offers the opportunity to deliver a first-class client experience through dedicated and proactive relationship management.

Tasks and responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities include:
  • Responsibility for the strategic and hands-on distribution of our private markets solutions, with a focus on our in-house private markets program and portfolio of perpetual/green funds
  • A strategic partner for Client Relationship Officers (CROs), Investment Counselors (ICs), and their clients, with the aim of increasing overall capital allocations to the asset class
  • Responsible for creating concise and tailored marketing content for presentations and written materials, both internally and for our global client base
  • Further developing our private market franchise by identifying customer needs and trends to shape our future product offerings
  • Developing educational initiatives to promote learning excellence and influence various stakeholder groups within EFG

Requirements and qualifications

The requirements and qualifications for this position are:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the distribution and/or sales of private-market products (including real estate), preferably with a focus on high-net-worth clients
  • For a senior-level position: 10+ years of relevant professional experience required
  • Ambitious and self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a goal-oriented, high-performance culture while maintaining a down-to-earth attitude
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an enthusiastic, flexible, and hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Italian (German is a plus)
  • Master’s degree in finance or a related field and additional professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create concise, client-focused marketing materials
