Senior Private Markets Product Specialist

EFG International is seeking a Senior Private Markets Product Specialist in Zurich to lead sales efforts in the private markets sector and deliver a first-class client experience. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in sales and/or business development within the private markets sector.

We are looking for a Senior Private Markets Product Specialist to join our team in Zurich. We offer a challenging and dynamic work environment where your contributions will be valued and recognized.

Tasks and responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities include:
  • Responsibility for strategic and hands-on sales efforts for our private markets solutions, with a focus on EFG’s internal private markets program and portfolio of perpetual/evergreen funds
  • A strategic partner for Client Relationship Officers (CROs), Investment Counsellors (ICs), and their clients, with the aim of increasing the overall allocation to the asset class
  • Responsible for creating concise and tailored marketing content for in-person and written presentations, both internally and for our global client base
  • Promote the ongoing development of our retail markets franchise by identifying customer needs and trends to shape our future product offerings
  • Developing educational initiatives to promote learning excellence and influence various stakeholder groups within EFG

Requirements and qualifications

The key requirements and qualifications include:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in sales and/or business development in the private markets sector (including real estate), preferably with a focus on private wealth clients
  • For a senior-level position: 10+ years of relevant professional experience required
  • An ambitious and self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a goal-oriented, high-performance environment while maintaining a down-to-earth attitude
  • An entrepreneurial mindset combined with an enthusiastic, flexible, and hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Italian (German is a plus)
  • Master’s degree in finance or a related field, along with additional professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create concise, customer-focused marketing materials
